In a bit less than a month I will be saying goodbye to this kind of views:
It’s been a bit over one week since M left. And although going about everyday life without him is quite different and I miss him deeply, the city still feels like home. I might be a bit in denial of the whole situation, but I like to stay hopeful and think that we’ll be coming back to Oz. Meanwhile, I am trying to enjoy every day here and still have a list of things I would like to do in the upcoming weeks:
– Spend as much time as possible at the beach, sunbaking and swimming.
– Visit the Central Coast and Newcastle. Take as many trains as I can and visit more cities in NSW.
– Hopefully fit in a trip to the Gold Coast.
– Go to Max Brenner (chocolate heaven) and have a chocolate overdose. Same for frozen yoghurt spots.
– Go for meat pies at Harry’s Cafe de Wheels. Go for Fish&Chips at Watson’s Bay.
– Get a tattoo as a souvenir from my year in Oz. (Maybe… If I don’t chicken out).
– Maybe go to a clothing optional beach. (If I don’t chicken out as well).
How do you say goodbye to a city when you to move out?
